Turkish Airlines Plans to Open Five Lounges at Istanbul’s New Airport

Following the final touch of the “Great Move” to its modern domestic base, Turkey’s flag service Turkish Airlines has introduced that it’ll open five-passenger lounges at Istanbul’s new airport to be had for Business Class, Miles & Smiles Elite & Elite Plus, Star Alliance Gold and Corporate Club passengers. Three of the lounges are already open for passengers, with the closing scheduled to open in Summer 2019.

The Turkish Airlines Business Lounge is more or less 60,000 rectangular feet with accommodations for 765 passengers. It offers assembly rooms, a library, a prayer room, and 13 private suites with showers. The front room features a one hundred thirty-square-foot museum in collaboration with the humanities and cultural organization Istanbul Modern. This is one of the three lounges currently open.

The Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles Lounge is also over 60,000 square feet and seats 765 visitors, but it has 11 private suites with showers. This living room also provides an area where visitors can rest on comfortable couches, enjoy Turkish and international cuisines, or revel in cell massage offerings.

In addition to this, the Miles & Smiles Lounge functions as a console gaming experience, golfing simulators, and a massive children’s play area. A generation middle with 3-D glasses and virtual reality remains being planned. The Miles & Smiles Lounge is also available for visitors to experience presently.

The three open lounges are the Turkish Airlines Domestic Lounge, positioned outside the terminal and accessed through a special front gate so passengers can complete check-in tactics and switch to the aircraft without delay through buses. Lounge amenities include at-ease seating, Turkish cuisine, a large children’s play vicinity, a media wall with a couple of TV displays, and a prayer room. This is like a VIP terminal planned at Manchester Airport in the U.K.

The closing lounges that Turkish Airlines has but to open are the Exclusive Lounge and Arrival Lounge. The Business Class and Miles & Smiles lounges’ universal design idea replicates an Aegean theme, including designs depicting breezes. The Ribbon Wall — the most unique design in Turkish Airlines lounges — is stimulated by a flowing motif, and solid timber panels ripple through all lounges.

Ladies Thighs, Sweet Lips, the Sultan Fainted, and Sultan’s Delight! Turkish dishes have the most delightful and only a little bit naughty names! Names that conjure up images of the pampered Sultan and his harem of voluptuous beauties. And, unlike the harem, Turkish cuisine is a mysterious and complex fusion of the Middle East and the Mediterranean, spiced up with a touch of Central Asia. Here’s a sampler of experiences foodies can look for throughout Turkey this summer.

Fish and raki beneath the Galata Bridge

The Galata Bridge is a hub of chaos and pastime. Above the bridge, buses, vehicles, and the tramway trundle backward and forward between Karakoy and Eminonu. Fishers line the bridge at each time of the day or nighttime, casting their strains and attempting their success within the bloodless waters of the Golden Horn. Seagulls leap, ferries roar, the mosque calls. Walk below the bridge, and some other assault grabs your senses. “Yes, please!” “You appear hungry!” and “Just look at my menu!”

Pick the watering hole with the first-rate ambiance/maximum persuasive waiter, seize a table, and loosen up “ala Turka” with a round of Meze, sparkling grilled fish, and a pitcher of aniseed-flavored raki. The ideal spot to look at the ferry toils, the waters, and the solar set over the domes and minarets of old ‘Stamboul. Some fish at these eating places may be costly, so include the price when Balik Noktasi comes enormously recommended for its nice fish and provider. Reserve a desk close to the water and enjoy terrific Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia views. You may have one of the most satisfactory portions of fish you’ll ever flavor here!
